More waiting…

This week, I’d like to lead us in a further exploration of the theme of waiting. We’ll explore some scripture, and develop a picture of the expectancy that was prominent in the majority of the people in the time of Jesus. Then I hope to share personally about some of my own journey and struggle with waiting – why does my longing for fulfillment create such a frustration in me and make me susceptible to despair. Is there any sign of light in this dark waiting, this hungry longing?

Just a reminder to mark your calendars for Thursday, December 22nd 7pm for our annual “Christmas Eve” gathering. We will gather for a short time of teaching, carol singing and then some food and partying. Hope you can plan to be there.
January 1st our gathering time will be in the evening at 7pm instead of our usual Sunday morning time.
