The Big Debate…

It seems that we can’t get more than three verses into the “Big Story” before we come to a Big Debate. Ah well…if we are probing the things that matter, we must come sooner or later (in this case sooner) to things that remind us of our place in the story, and of the truth that we don’t and can’t know everything. That said, the exploring of these things shapes us, and as folks doing our venturing in the context of a Christian community we can anticipate that our travels will carry us into the realm of God.

And really, as all the great explorers from our imperial past could tell you, it is the warmth of good company, the comfort of the environment and the quality and freshness of the coffee that make all this hard work a civilized endeavour. So face the winter, and come join us. If charting new territory in the Big Story with a warm mug in your hands isn’t worth the trip, then the band Luke has put together just might…
